  • The first Byzantine chant manuscripts of the fonds grec have been published online during the last months. Unfortunately, their rebinding as well as their classification are as incompetent as in the catalogue of the Greek collection by Henry Omont. For a rough, but competent description of the manuscripts I recommend Amédée Gastoué's chapter about chant books on page 81:

  • The manuscript fonds grec, ms. 397 is definitely a Kontakarion, not a Sticherarion as indicated on page 85!
