The Bektashi Order as it can be found in the Balkans can be traced back to an Ottoman foundation during the 15th century, but the founder was Persian and lived during the time of Jelal od-Din Rûmî and founded a first Order in Anatolia when the caliphate was under Seljukide administration. It became soon forbidden.
