Almost alone among Studio S.M. recordings with dates are those of the early En Calcat issues. I once wrote to the abbey for information. The archivist (professed in 1927, he noted!) photocopied lines out of the abbey's handwritten journal and pasted them into two pages, noting the dates that M. Robreau came to make recordings. I was able to connect the dates with some specific issues such as this one. It is unfortunate that the Tract and Sequence were omitted from the CD, since there was enough time to include them.
