  • Notice that Studio S.M. wrote on all its "SM20" reissues (with the gatefold sleeves) that "ces chants ont ete a nouveau graves, certains parfois sont inedites." The Easter Mass on this disc, recorded live, is the only example known to me of "inedites chants." The rest of the disc was first issued as SM 33-76. All of these recordings were probably made at the same time, Easter 1959. This is an example of the unfortunate practice of not documenting the dates of recording that was normal for Studio S.M.
