Fauvel Ms. on DVD

Here's a proposal for a new form of edition of sources which may become fruitful also for other sources in the future: the text of the whole Fauvel manuscript in modern transcription and (commented) French translation; all compositions of the manuscript in modern transcription; new recordings of all compositions in a performance practice which is in keeping with the probable historical one implied by sources (no use of women's voices, countertenors where necessary, medieval French pronunciation, instruments for lower voices where appropriate etc.); the whole Fauvel text or at least the most interesting passages should be read and recorded by someone who is able to come close to the (likely) medieval French pronunciation:

All of this on one DVD. Philological, codicological and musicological commentaries about the source(s), the works and the (probable) performance practice as well as the link to the original digitalized manuscript (and other relevant sources) should be included.

It would be great if performers and musicologists could work together in the future and also provide DVDs for other important sources which include transcriptions, texts, translations, digitalized manuscripts together with full recordings (in GOOD and TRULY historically informed performance practice) and articles.
