Dear friends and colleagues:
A rather bizarre question (but important for me): exception made of Dufay's Nuper rosarum flores and Talavera's and Muros' offices for the taking of Granada (1493 -97), does anyone know of any medieval or postmedieval Office, Mass or paraliturgical piece that mentions in its text (with proper name) a person (monarch, bishop etc.) that was alive at the very moment of the composition of that piece? Is it possible in medieval and posmedieval liturgy to find mentions of non canonized and alive persons in the ritual text? Any help will be useful. Thank you very much.
