INVENTAIRE DES LIVRES LITURGIQUES DE BRETAGNE (manuscrits et imprimés, du haut Moyen Âge à la Révolution)
Le projet
Il faut remonter à 1922 et aux travaux de l'érudit de Dol François DUINE (1870-1924) pour trouver une synthèse sur les livres liturgiques de Bretagne. C'est en effet à cette date qu'est publié son Inventaire liturgique de l'hagiographie bretonne chez Honoré Champion dans la collection "La Bretagne et les Pays Celtiques". L'abbé Duine privilégia dans cet ouvrage l'histoire et le culte des saints bretons.
Depuis plus de 30 ans nous travaillons à l'actualisation et au développement de cet Inventaire. Nous y avons inclus les ouvrages de dévotion dont le succès fut si populaire en Bretagne jusqu'à la fin du XIXe siècle (tant en français qu'en langue bretonne), publications que nous voulons faire découvrir et réhabiliter.
Notre inventaire, cd de données au format pdf pour une recherche en mode texte (1000 p. de références et d’illustrations !!), dédié à François Duine, sera accompagné d'un livret de présentation.

The project
To find a similar synthesis on Breton liturgical books, we must return to 1922 and the works of the scholar from Dol, François DUINE (1870-1924). In that year his Inventaire liturgique de l’hagiographie bretonne was published by Honoré Champion in the series “La Bretagne et les Pays Celtiques”. In this work Abbot Duine emphasized the history and the cult of Breton saints.
For more than 30 years we have been working to update and expand the Inventaire. We have included devotional books that proved so popular in Brittany through the end of the 19th century (in French as well as in the Breton language), publications that we would like to reveal and redeem.
Our inventory, a CD-ROM of information in PDF format to facilitate search queries of the text (containing nearly 1,000 pages of references and photographs), is dedicated to François Duine and will be accompanied by a booklet of introduction.
