    I wonder whether the D-flat might actually be fa applied to the C that it stands above (see the B-flat at the beginning of the following staff). This would assist the solmization of the descent to the low D, with a mutation re/la on A.

    Peut-on donc dire que le plain-chant du XVIIeme mélangeait le tonal et le modal où est-ce juste des altérations accidentelles sur cette pièce?
