Présentation: travaux et (ou) intérêts (Presentation: works and (or) interests)

I'm passionate about intonation and consonance. I'm interested in 'non-tempered' pitch notation. I'm also very interested in the therapeutic use of music in the medieval world. The notion of soundscapes resonates a lot with me.

I'm also an artist, a singer, a wind musician and I love to dance.

After a degree in jazz at the University of Toulouse/Université de Montréal, I became a professional musician, mainly in jazz and improvised music. I then followed a number of long training courses (music therapy, sound therapy, sound yoga, breath yoga, singing circles, composition) before joining a course for professional musicians dedicated to the study and creation of modality and microtanility, mainly in traditional Occitan music, in the light of learned and popular traditions (makam, mugham, microtonalism).

These experiences, as well as my encounters with Marcel Pérès and Maurice Moncozet, have inevitably led me to the study and practice of medieval music, which I approach with the support of my professional career and as a learner.
