Walter Chinaglia, nato nel 1971, laurea in Fisica nel 1996 , apre la bottega Organa dedicandosi a progettare, costruire, restaurare organi a canne (positivi, portativi, a cassapanca), clavicembali, claviorgani. Ha realizzato una completa gamma di organi portativi (organetti) e nel corso del 2011 un interessante e unico organo tardo medievale. Dal 2005 è docente esterno di “accordature strumenti storici a tastiera” presso il conservatorio di Como. Ha venduto organi in Austria, Danimarca, Finlandia, Francia, Germania, Italia, Olanda, Spagna, Svizzera. WEB: www.organa.it Organa is Walter Chinaglia’s workshop. Walter Chinaglia projects, designs, builds, restores pipe organs, harpsichords, claviorgans with traditional materials and techniques. His instruments have found warm welcome both for their sound and for technical qualities. Fundamental building principles are constant research and advices of musicians. Each instrument comes from an accurate project down to the last details: the result are very compact, solid organs, with fine mechanical action, easy to transport and to tune up. Walter Chinaglia projects and makes a complete range of portative organs which enables to play medieval music. An interesting and unique late-medieval organ was built in 2011. WEB: www.organa.it
