Bien sûr, l'importance et les changements dans la rédaction par Guibert de Gembloux sont bien connus (en particulier concernant la correspondence de l'abesse, regardez par exemple l'habilitation de Michael Embach "Die Schriften Hildegards von Bingen: Studien zu ihrer Überlieferung und Rezeption im Mittelalter und in der frühen Neuzeit", Berlin 2003).
Mais, ici il y a une nouvelle méthodologie psycholinguistique, et malgré de ses méthodes statistiques qui ne semblent pas intéressantes à la majorité relative des lecteurs, on reçoît une bonne introduction comme ça fonctionne et de la passion des rechercheurs linguistes.
