  • Dear Geert:

    how are you?

I want to do you a brief question. This academic course in my Gregorian Chant Class at the Madrid Conservatorium, I have a blind pupil, a girl. I have only a book  (Transcripción of Gregorian Chant in Braille) and I would wish if there is more bibliography items, and also if you have special material for this purpose.

I read with a lot of interest your discussions and transcriptions about Mozarabic Chant. Unfortunately, now I'm very busy with other topics, but, very soon I can to follow you.

    Thank you very much.

    Juan Carlos Asensio

Geert Maessen replied to Fyodor N's discussion Rhythm, Meter and Tempo of Gregorian Chant according to Jan van Biezen
"As often I completely agree with Luca.
Semiology has more to do with folklore than with science. Yes, it is an improvement compared to before. But it is far from the "truth". In my view Van Biezen "proved" the inconsistency of semiology. That's…"
