Doctorat en musicologie (2006) avec la thèse "Transferencias del canto medieval: los tropos del Ordinarium Missae en los manuscritos españoles" (http://eprints.ucm.es/7758/) mes domaines de recherche principaux sont: 1. Les transferts culturels et l'histoire de la réception dans la musique médiévale 2. L'édition critique et l'analyse des répertoires musicaux dans la Moyen Age espagnole et européenne. 3. Chanson liturgique et chant grégorien 4. L'oralité et l'écriture dans la musique médiévale 5. Musique dans la lyrique médiévale profane, dans la chanson de geste et dans la littérature du roman médiéval. Actuellement suis professeur de musicologie à l'Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
