  • Bienvenue....J'ai eu le plaisir de vous rencontrer lors du Congrès Grégorien à Paris en 1985. Vous faisiez justement une communication (avec Michel Huglo) sur le chant bénéventain, je vous entends encore constater avec humour le nombre -inattendu - de participants intéressés par ce répertoire... Je me vois vous indiquer, à la fin de votre conférence, une référence dans le Bénévent 21 concernant une pièce (au troisième dimanche de Carême je crois) dont la mélodie m'avait paru influencée par le vieux bénéventain...
  • Merci! C'est le traité classique qui a donné le nom de bénéventain à l'écriturequ'auparavant on appelait lombard.

"Bärenreiter does no longer employ lectors since decades, the quality of this edition is entirely the work of Matthew Peattie's team. It probably explains the considerable amount of time, they needed to publish it.
